I love the photo! :) My must-have would be mascara. I don't have a particular favorite brand or type, but without it, I look like I am ill...seriously ill. So, I try and keep that around.
Mac's Mascara!! No Question
Amen, Mascara! Almost anything by Maybelline will do the job, but my favorite is the Define-A-Lash; they just came out with a waterproof version!!I also couldn't live without Victoria's Secret's Beauty Rush lip gloss line - they are flavored, pretty and cheap!
I could definitely live a happy life without makeup. But, my one item that I love is Lancombe's mousse foundation.
Bath and Body work mentha Lip shine in tint colors..they add a little color and taste really good like peppermint
MACs Studio Fix foundation powder. I never leave home without it... and mascara. My favorite is the plain Cover Girl kind that comes in the blue tube. The Lashblast in the orange tube is pretty good, too, but sometimes it is messy putting it on and I look like I drank too much the night before.
MACs studio fix powder, hands down. Its amazing. As you know im a MAC addict. but that would be what saves me. :)it is very light yet still has great coverage and looks AWESOME! try it, youll be addicted. http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15107&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1379(i couldnt get it to be a link.. sorry!)
I love Jane Iredale's bronzer!! I am a fan of Mac and Jane Iredale. I was talking to a makeup artist once that did a ton of Hollywood makeup. I asked her what mascara was good and she told me that Maybelline has been doing mascara forever and they do it right.
I would look AWFUL without Mascara, let's be honest. BUT I am absolutely in love with MAC's Iridescent loose powder in Golden Bronze. It is the most natural looking bronzer i've ever seen. It makes you look fresh, and sunkissed. Even in the winter time :)
Hi Becky! I've clicked on so many blogs in the last half hour I don't even remember whose I found you through.I only wear makeup on Sundays (to be honest, I only make it into the shower 3-4 times a week, so I never think about makeup during the week), and my vote would be mascara.I read the 2 makeup posts from "Ali" you had linked to your site. I love her blog, though I have no idea who she is. Would she mind if I start reading her regularly and put her link on my site (which you are on now, yay!)?
Emily Kate, I know Ali would be delighted to have you as a reader! Feel free to comment, i know she loves them.Hope all is well!
Yes, I can say definitively that ali would indeed be delighted to have you as a reeder, and be linked on your blog! (yay, a new reader!!!)And Becky, does chapstick count?
Bare Minerals is awesome! I did the natural thing all of high school and even a good chunk of college. When i started teaching I needed to look older and starting doing the make-up thing a lot more. The only thing I've really loved since entering this world is Bare Minerals. It is worth the money- I promise!
The one makeup I can't live without is CARGO foundation and coverup. It turns me from hideous to pleasant in a matter of minutes. I also LOVE the Shu Uemura eyelash curler. It is by far the best I have ever used. The list could go on and on...I love makeup! Hope you're doing well :)
