I'm on the hunt for new plates. I want 'em white and I want 'em simple. Here's some I found online.
Everyday Restaurant Porcelain Dinner Plates from Williams-Sonoma
Apilco Tradition Porcelain Dinner Plates from Williams-Sonoma
PB White Dinnerware from Pottery Barn
Caterer's 12-Piece Dinnerware Set from Pottery Barn
Obviously I haven't looked around too much and would love your help. Any recommendations?

All those are great options. I personally have the Great White from Pottery Barn, which has held up over the years and is a nice basic, but I have to use the salad plates as dinner plates- the dinner plates are too big to fit in my cabinets!
Becky--get the Apilco. They are awesome. The family I nannied for had them and they truly are indestructible. They are classic and will last forever.
We have the Cellar dishes from Macy's and absolutely LOVE them. They're basic, white, round, and nice heavy stoneware. And...forks don't make those black scrapes across them.
IKEA has some great ones. I bought a set about 6 years ago, and they're still going' strong. They were very inexpensive, too.
We have the Aspen dinnerware set from Crate and Barrel and really like it. Here's a link: http://www.crateandbarrel.com/dining-and-entertaining/dinnerware-sets/aspen-dinnerware/f1667
I registered for the Aspen set @ Crate & Barrel, and luckily I got the whole set. I really like them still and I really should use them more often - they can be dressed up or down, just like my favorite clothes :)
